Hello, my name is Patricia Newman. I am a Usui and Tibetan Reiki Master with 30 years of experience in healing and teaching. Since 2007, I have been living in Cyprus, where I offer Reiki training.  Throughout my years of teaching, I have acquired additional symbols and knowledge, which I share with my students during the Reiki in Cyprus study day.

While information about Reiki is available in books, the ability to practice Reiki healing comes after receiving attunements. These attunements, which must be received from a Reiki Master, open energy channels and empower practitioners to provide healing to themselves and others. Usui Masters can trace their lineage back to Dr. Usui, which demonstrates their training at the Master’s Degree level.

Reiki is a Japanese art of healing that is easy to learn, and you don’t need any prior qualifications to start training—just a desire to help others.

What is Reiki Healing? Reiki healing involves three degrees of training:

1. *First-degree Reiki healers*:

They can self-heal and heal family and friends immediately after their training. – First-degree healers enhance their energy levels by practicing Reiki healing and do not charge for sessions.

2. *Second-Degree Reiki Healers*:

 Second-degree Reiki healers are trained practitioners who can charge a fee for their sessions. I do not require students to take an advanced second-degree course before they can start practicing. I teach my students everything they need to know during their second-degree training.

3. *Master/Teacher Degree*:

The Master/Teacher degree is the final step for those who want to teach Reiki healing to others. A Reiki Master attunes students so they can become Reiki healers. I do not offer separate modules for the Master’s Degree and the Teaching Degree; instead, my students who complete their Master’s Degree also learn how to attune others to Reiki.

What you will learn:

*Reiki in Cyprus – First Degree Study Day*:

During the Reiki First Degree training, students will receive a comprehensive manual for future reference. This manual covers the history of Reiki, information about its founders, details on chakras and charts of the hand positions used in Reiki healing, instructions on how to perform Reiki healing on others, and the scientific principles that support Reiki.

On the training day, students will receive four attunements to open their chakras. Under my guidance, they will also perform a Reiki healing session as part of completing their First Degree training.

After completing the training, students will feel confident to begin performing healing sessions immediately.

 *Certification and Fees* upon completion of the training day, students will receive a Reiki First Degree certificate. The fee for the Reiki First Degree training is €135.00.

Course duration: one full day of hands on teaching: 9.30 am until 4pm

*Reiki First Degree via Home Study Option*:

Many students interested in Reiki have likely already read books or researched its origins. To support this, I offer a home study option. In this format, I provide a comprehensive manual that contains all the necessary information. Students can read the manual at their own pace in the comfort of their homes and reach out to me via email for any clarifications. When students feel ready to proceed, they can book a two-hour hands-on session with me.

This session will focus exclusively on practical training. During this time, students will be attuned to the healing process, and I will observe as they conduct a session. My students appreciate this approach, as it allows them to process the information at their own pace while still enjoying an interactive study day.

This home study option is offered at a reduced fee, making it a more cost-effective choice while still providing a comprehensive training.

*Certification and Fees* upon completion of the training day, students will receive a Reiki First Degree certificate. The fee for the Reiki First Degree homes study training is €55.00.

By embracing either the in-person training or the home study alternative, you are taking a significant step towards healing and personal growth in the practice of Reiki.

*Reiki Second Degree Training*:

 Students participating in the Reiki Second Degree training will receive a comprehensive manual for future reference. This manual includes important information and charts about the symbols used in Reiki, guidance on establishing a Reiki healing practice, and a consultation form designed for clients to sign at their initial session.

This form ensures safe practice by protecting both the practitioner and the client, explaining the healing process, and obtaining the client’s consent.

*What Students Will Learn*:

 In the Reiki Second Degree training in Cyprus, students will gain knowledge in the following areas: Activating and using Reiki symbols for healing and self-protection – Sending distant healing and beaming Reiki energy – Managing negative energy and balancing the Chakras during a healing session – Understanding the role of spiritual guides in Reiki healing – Meditating with a candle – Learning additional hand positions – Conducting a quick Reiki healing session

Through this training, students will learn how to draw the symbols, which open new pathways of awareness and enhance the Reiki healing energies. During the study day, students will receive two attunements, practice giving Reiki healing with the symbols, and learn techniques for chakra balancing and distant healing.

By the end of the training, students will feel confident to become Reiki Practitioners immediately. *Certification and Fees* upon completion of the training day, students will receive a Reiki Second Degree certificate. The fee for the Reiki Second Degree training is €135.00.
